Course Syllabus

  1. TITLE OF COURSE: CSE1701 - Basics of Web Page Design
  2. COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course will give students the tools needed to design effective Web sites.  Concentration will be on learning the parts of a Web site, how to build a Web site, and how to incorporate good design principles into the site.  Student should know the basics of using a computer and familiar with the Internet. For each unit of credit, a minimum of three hours per week with one of the hours for class and two hours for studying/preparation outside of class is expected.

PROGRAM AND/OR DEPARTMENT MISSION STATEMENT: The CIS Program will provide superior learning opportunities in the area of information technology, utilizing state-of-the-art technology, for both CIS majors and non CIS majors to enable all students to achieve their career and/or educational goals.
